We start of with a short film about Nao Takeuchi, where we will listen to his album Ballads.
Ballads is dedicated to John Coltrane and Elvin Jones. Nai Nao Takeuchi says about the men in question:
"It is John Coltrane who made me resolve to live as a sazophonist and is still alive in my mind even though 50 years passed after his death. Elvin Jones showed me the way to live my life as a musician. I want to extend my sincere thanks to both".

Next up is a film about Mingus Erectus, where we dive into the black and white of jazz, where the negative becomes positive.
Music sometimes conduct the life of those who listen to it. That is what happened to Noël Balen, a writer, who published a poem collection along with a tribute record to Charles Mingus, a brilliant and furious bass player.
